The Reverend Brian G. Rallison

XIV Rector, The Episcopal Parish of St. Clement

In February 2024, the vestry welcomed the Reverend Brian G. Rallison to our faith ʻohana (family) at the Episcopal Parish of St. Clement in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. He began his ministry on March 1, 2024, and now serves as the XIV Rector of the parish.

Since his arrival, Father Brian has worked alongside our community to strengthen worship, expand ministries, and guide us with steady, thoughtful leadership. Grounded in prayer and collaboration, he continues to help us grow together as we serve others with love and hope. At the heart of his ministry is a deep love for this parish and its people.

Before coming to St. Clement’s, Father Brian served as rector of Grace Episcopal Church and Church of the Incarnation, as well as Holy Innocents St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah and a Master of Divinity from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific.

Known affectionately as Kahu Brian, he is an energetic leader with a strong commitment to pastoral care, evangelism, and outreach. He is especially gifted in building relationships through deep listening and collaboration, believing that “we can do great things for God’s people at St. Clement, in Honolulu, in the Hawaiian Islands, and beyond.”

His ministry has included work with individuals experiencing homelessness, developing children’s programs, establishing outreach ministries such as food pantries and community meals, and partnering with local organizations to serve those in need.

Father Brian is also deeply committed to St. Clement’s School, supporting its vital role in parish life and building strong connections with students, families, and faculty.

In addition to his pastoral gifts, he brings experience in administration and finance, having served as Chief Administrative Officer of a mortgage bank and participating in grant writing to support ministry growth.

Father Brian often shares: “Jesus is the biggest radical I have ever known because Jesus loved everyone—and that is the central characteristic of following Jesus.” His open-door approach reflects that spirit—he is always ready to listen, connect, and walk alongside others in faith.
